Jared
Green
Jared Green is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, who holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) and an MA in Management and Leadership from Webster University. His highly awarded athletic career began at Little Rock Central High School, where he was deemed a 7A Outstanding Lineman, received All-Conference and All-State honors, and was named the Metro Defensive Player of the Year during his senior year. As a starting freshman at Mississippi Valley State (2008-2009), Green earned All-SWAC honors and All-American honors. His impressive two seasons concluded with him being a finalist for the Conerly Award, which is bestowed upon Mississippi’s top collegiate athlete. Moving back home to Arkansas, Green earned a scholarship to play for the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville). During the 2010 – 2012 seasons, he was part of the Sugar Bowl and Cotton Bowl victories. He was also invited to play in the Casino Del Rio Senior Bowl game. One of his proudest accomplishments was earning the All-SEC Academic Award. In 2016, Green was selected for Mississippi Valley State’s All-Decade team. This recognition only complements his work as a Senior Behavioral Specialist and a youth mentor.
At its forefront are three principal figures, each with their own compelling stories. Trey Flowers, currently a professional football player, continues to excel in his athletic career while also being dedicated to T.E.A.M’s mission.
Trey
Flowers
Trey Flowers is from Huntsville, Alabama, where his foundation, the ‘Flowers of the Future Foundation,’ is based. Through the foundation, Trey establishes community engagement, promotes physical fitness, develops positive values, and engages in philanthropic endeavors that aid in the overall betterment of the youth, aiming to plant seeds that continuously grow ‘flowers for a better tomorrow.’ He graduated high school in the top 10% of his class with a 4.0 GPA. He went on to study economics at the University of Arkansas, where he graduated in three and a half years with a 3.0 GPA. During his time at Arkansas, he earned academic honors and received All-SEC recognition on the field. As a two-time captain, he led his team to many victories. His leadership helped the Razorbacks gain recognition as a top 10 defense in his senior year. His focus and dedication on and off the field allowed him to earn the opportunity to be drafted in the 4th round by the New England Patriots. Flowers, with the Patriots, went on to win two of the team’s three trips to the Super Bowl. Many of his teammates can attest to his work ethic, which granted him the luxury of signing a second contract with the Detroit Lions. With the Lions, he was nominated for the ‘Walter Payton Man of the Year Award’ because of his philanthropic work in the city of Detroit. He was also voted team captain by his teammates. Today, Flowers is currently playing professionally while pivoting his attention toward growing his business portfolio. He is currently an owner and investor in many properties and successful businesses in Alabama, Texas, and Las Vegas. Through all his many accomplishments, Trey is most proud of being a loving husband and a father of three beautiful girls.
Tenarius Wright, another co-founder, brings his own experiences as a former athlete, further enriching the leadership team. Together, these three leaders embody a profound understanding of the highs and lows of athletic careers, which fuels their commitment to offering athletes a guiding light and a roadmap for navigating their own athletic odysseys and transitions into civilian life.
